About

I am a mama, wife, friend, daughter, sister, early morning yogi, lover of quiet.  I live several paradoxes, including being both passionate about riding bikes for lots of miles outside, while most of the time riding (and teaching) spin classes indoors. I think I would make it to Round 2 in Chopped: Home Pantry Edition (which doesn’t exist, as far as I know). I struggle with small talk, and relish long soul-filled conversations sans interruptions; exhibits A & B (child 1 and child 2) mean that interruptions are part of my life, and I get to choose to embrace it or get annoyed by it a lot. These days I choose to be annoyed less. I love hot coffee and have recently started a new coffee regime that I feel treats me really well. I’m interested in knowing my shadow self and illuminated self. I homeschool, sew, knit, crochet, cook, write, nap, chase dreams, wonder how it all works, ride bikes (in or outdoors), carry on multiple text conversations at once, and laugh. Not all at once. Or in that order.

As 2017 came to a close and 2018 came busting through, I got some consistent messages about the necessity to be grounded, present, take a class, self-study, meditate, engage in a contemplative practice…. There’s a lot of ways to do all those things, but this outlet for writing is one of mine.

I can’t wait to see where I go, what I uncover, how it all comes to pass. Grounding down, ready to rise up. If I knew how to insert a heart emoji here, I would put it here.
